PARKING: Thanks to ALCO Parking, Stand Down attendees can park for FREE in Gold Lots 1 & 2 in the North Shore on the day of our event!
WHAT IS STAND DOWN?
Stand Down Pittsburgh is a day of free services for homeless Veterans or Veterans who are at risk of becoming homeless.
When these Veterans attend this free community event, they receive on-the-spot access to breakfast, lunch, 60+ health & community service providers, entertainment, barbers, clothing, supplies and other essential resources.
Stand Down Pittsburgh is an annual event that truly makes an impact in the lives of people who are experiencing a housing crisis. Last year, 554 Veterans, family members and individuals in need attended Stand Down Pittsburgh.HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED IN STAND DOWN PITTSBURGH?
BECOME A VENDOR:
Is your organization interested in having a table at Stand Down Pittsburgh? All you need to do is fill out a vendor form.

HELP US SPREAD THE WORD:
Our goal is to help as many Veterans in need at Stand Down Pittsburgh. Help us spread the word as wide as possible by volunteering to distribute Stand Down Pittsburgh posters in your community.

ORGANIZE A DONATION DRIVE:
At Stand Down Pittsburgh, we distribute essential items such as clothing, winter accessories and hygiene items. Join our community-wide donation drive so that we can have enough supplies on hand at Stand Down Pittsburgh.
