The Minority Entertprise Development Awards program was held on October 1, 2004 at the Ramada Plaza Suites & Conference Center. ACHA's Purchasing Manager, Cynthia Evans received the "Government Advocate of the Year" award for providing business opportunities to small and mid-sized minority businesses. This award was one of eight awards presented by the Minority Business Opportunity Committee (MBOC) in 2004.

Cindy credited the ACHA and it's minority business associates for their continued efforts and dedication to minority business programs.
