Educational
Scholarship Program
"Keep
the Dream Alive!"
You have the drive to succeed in life. What you need is money to
help pay for your education. Up to $3,000 will be awarded to a qualified
ACHA resident for use towards a college or accredited training or
post-secondary institution.
To qualify applicants
must:
• Be an ACHA Low Income Public Housing (LIPH) Resident (name
must appear on lease);
• Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5
(guidance counselor verification required);
• Be accepted or attending a post-secondary or accredited training
institution;
• Compose a short (300 words minimum) typewritten essay
highlighting educational and career goals;
• Obtain two letters of reference (personal/non-family member
and educational).
