The Housing Management Operations Department (HMO) Department is responsible for all direct delivery of services to residents. This includes property management and delivery of Residence Supported Service.

PROPERTY MANAGEMENT:
Effective October 1, 2006 the Allegheny County Housing Authority was mandated by the Department of Housing Urban Development (HUD) to change from Centralize Management to Site Based Management.

Under this new regulation, decisions regarding the management of property that were previously made by the central office are now the responsibility of the RPM/ARPM. Their duties includes leasing, rent collection, taking and closing work orders, maintaining the site budget, re-certification, accepting applications, data collections (application processing), maintaining the waiting list, determining eligibility, marketing, terminations, and legal issues.
